The film’s VFXs were created by UNIT and their in house team, all of which was overseen by EP Kevin Docherty. The VFXs were a huge undertaking, there were 12 shots in total all of which had very different requirements. These ranged from a glowing orb of fire and light to a full mountainous environment. The team had a number of visual references to guide them but also freedom to elaborate and embellish the visual effects.
